We're leaving for NAMM first thing Friday morning-it's the only day off I take all year. We should be on the floor about noon. First thing I'm going to do is see if we can locate an extra ticket or two and then call Rory. Really looking forward to meeting a real "hardcore" musician. He was in Fargo and moved to where I'm sure he's at the top of the heap, talent-wise.
Don't expect much, but it will be a time to slow down a bit and enjoy a visit with one of my favorites around here. I have recommended him as an endorser for Burris Amps. He'll have a chance to visit with Bob Burris on the floor. At least, if we can locate the unused tickets he will.

People say the economy is really affecting the show. George says even Fender, one of the keystone exhibitors is not showing up. I was able to get a room at the hotel attached to the convention center 3 weeks out. Never could do that before.

Looks as though the new ones will be called PSR710 & 910 See reference in the text below the pictures for the 910 (the link for that is not live yet) http://www.yamaha.com/snamm/?adid=email

maybe Roland will surprise us with a new arranger that will Kill all others with audio guitar loops, real drums, real authentic styles programmed by "real" musicians, awesome sounds and build, nice touchscreen, etc.
