PS ... 'back in the day' with the band we had a great "Patriotic Show" of George M. Cohan songs ... t. PPS .. is she part of your act .. BTW ... if you want them to 'sing along' to "Grand Old Flag", I think you should be singing too ... JMHO ...

Just had a chance to watch your video and it sounded great. Very smooth transitions between tunes. When you got to the Battle Hymn of the Republic, I first thought great use of the harmonizer then saw your partner show up on camera and blew the whole illusion for me. I noticed you did use the harmonizer on Swanee River though. If I may make a suggestion 'just something to try'; instead of using all 3 vocal harmony parts, try just using a single harmony part above your voice or at the most two. The harmony will more intelligible that way.
Keep up the good work. I'll post something soon to show off my new PA588.
Thanks Dave. Yes, that woman is 97! and her singing surprised me too She's a beautiful person, as so many are, and what makes this journey so very special.
I need to fool around more with harmony settings, but I just use stock stuff and go on from there (busy). I use 2 part a lot in Everly Bros, etc and it works, so might try it. Of course, that little Mino recorder is a lame representation vs live.
That said, the Mino has been a great tool for developing myself and man do I need it
Looking forward to see how you master the PA - I'm sure it'll be special with your talent.
I'm continuing to post more on YouTube, so anyone who wants to check out more songs from me can go there.

Thanks Scott. Nice hearing from you. I ran into a person up here in Ohio whose bro-in-law works for Fletcher and plays organ at the Tampa Bay games. If ever in Tampa, they invited me to contact him and he would set me up with tickets and let me sit in the organ booth - I'd be in heaven. I was thinking of you during our conversation.
Regards, Jim

Jim, I wish you would record something with a good SOUND recorder. The camera mic just doesn't sound good. In fact it sounds bad. It looks as if you can play and sing well, but you can't get a real idea of the PA800s sound from it. DonM

Hi Don,
Yep, that little Mino is good for quick and dirty, but it is a VERY POOR representation of the sound (as you note). In fact, while live, the sound through the Podiums is rich and fills the room with unbelievable sound.
Thanks for your thoughts. I'm currently selling a few things to do exactly as you say - keep tuned

I don't know anything about how these recorders work...
You're saying the camera produces a mp3 of the audio portion of the recording? Wouldn't that still use the on board recording mic?
I was thinking if you could go line out from your mixer/amp/etc. straight to the camera/recorder, you'd bypass the mic part of the recording, which is where I think most of us feel its not up to snuff...
No line in to the camera. I plan to video as usual, while I'm also recording through my mp3 player in the PA800. Then when I edit the video through their software, I'll make it a 'silent' video and link the mp3. My brother (IT computer dude) said he can do it. He knows his software! A few beers and laughs might produce something - who knows

Sorry, I'm late to the party as usual, but it was very enjoyable. Looking forward to more. And I hope you A/V project works out - that would be most interesting.

Hi Zuki...Great Music, Nice Video also...You really Do a Wonderful Job Entertaining...Your Heart is really in it, it SHOWS...You make the Korg Pa-800 Shine...You Both are very blessed...You get to make some "jingle" and The Folks are having a GREAT Time!!!!!!...I admire all the Talented People on this Forum Who do This....Thanks Zuki Harold
Zuki. I honestly wouldn't recommend recording 'silently' on the camcorder. Although you won't actually use it, it helps having the original audio there to 'line up' the flown in audio to be in nice and tight sync with the video... It's kind of hard to slip and slide the audio to a video track without the reference.
