For a great handheld mic at a fantastic price, check out the Samson Q7 reviews at ClickHere If you can use a headset mic, then my choice is the Crown CM-311A. For reviews Click Here Good Luck, Gary

Thanks for asking Diki--I'm doing pretty good, still a bit sore in the groin area, and trying to keep what little sanity I still have. I've used both mics for recording and both produced good to excellent results. A few years ago I posted some identical songs on the Synthzone done with the Q7, E-855 and CM-311A, and asked if anyone could identify which songs were done with which mic. It was pretty much a tossup if I recall. I guess a lot of this will depend upon the studio environment itself, and of course, the singers vocal quality. Cheers, Gary
