It's not that the Giants aren't a great team, it's that the Saints just weren't getting the credit they deserved. They've already beaten a couple of 'premier' teams (Iggs and Giants) and if Drew Brees doesn't get hurt, he's going to be the new Tom Brady. Shockey was awesome in the first half and definitely played like he had something to prove. Oh well, it'll make the rest of the season interesting. I think Diki's a big Saints fan, if so, he's going to have a long happy season.

Yeah, but then we might not get enough people reading it to make sure Tony and his ilk (Giants fans ) get properly skewered. I hope you don't think he's going to cut YOU any slack in the unlikely event that the Giants beat the Eagles .

Right on, Steve ...
and chas ... nice to hear from you ... while the GIANTS opposition of late was made up of some of the worst teams in the league (as we were reminded 'ad nauseum' by Troy - I LOVE DALLAS AND HATE NY - Aikman), I REFUSE to believe that their 'D' is as bad as it was made to look today ... it's a long season, and we'll have to see if Brees keeps it up ...
BTW, I turned on the NE Pats game and was AMAZED to see how it was snowing ... we are about a half hour away, and all we've had is rain - COLD rain, but just rain ...
And Donny, have you NEVER blessed these pages with a post about the E-girls or the Fillies ?!?!?

Similar to the "Connect-a-dot" states, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Rivalry is pretty hot when it comes to Yankees, Red Flops, NY Giants and Pats." I got neighbors who are die hard Red Sox fans, but root for the Giants, not the Pats. We got plenty of Yankee fans too who are Pats fans.

It has been a LOOOONG time coming, but our Saints have finally arrived. Not only the best offense in the league, but at last a good defense. Diki, the Saints have covered five weeks in a row. The Raiders SHOULD be better than they have shown. They have a lot of talent, but generally underachieve. Still I thought the Eagles would beat them easily. DonM
