I BOUGHT MY PA2XPRO ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND I WAS WONDERING ,AS I WAS READING THE KORG FORUMS ,LOTS OF PEOPLE HAD PROBLEMS ,AND SO FAR ITS BEEN ONE WEEK I DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS ,BUT WORRIED FOR THE FUTURE.PLEASE ADVISE

There is nothing wrong with the PA2x keyboard, but there is with your pc keyboard, there is a caps lock key just below the tab key just above the arrow up key which is just above the ctrl key can you turn it off, on your Korg there are 4 pad buttons and one at the end STOP when you are playing try turning all the pads on one to 4 with the bass drum banging, that's like your PC caps lock, RAY TURN THE CAPS LOCK OFF PLEASEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I think it sent Diki CRAZZZZZZY last time.

BTW I don't think there are any real issues with the KORG i think your are mixed up with the Audya, good luck with the PA2x i have one and keep use posted with any problems, don't forget Ray turn the caps lock off and then you don't stand out to much.

Are the use of caps lock (BIG LETTERS) more annoying than all the
(often repeated) quoted posts using bold letters?

Maybe it's a health problem, maybe some having poor eyesight and
that's why they use capital letters?

You think THAT'S harm, Ray? Try saying anything even MILDLY critical of their pet arranger...

The thing about a forum is, often issues that have long been cleared up still linger to be read on a forum. We even had someone concerned about buying a PA2Xpro recently because he'd read reports of LED problems... Turns out that that was a problem with a few of one of the very first batches, was quickly solved, fixed and moved on from, but of course, those early posts still survive. Year or two later, the unwary (or insufficiently researched ) are still worried about it...

BTW, thanks for the caps lock off, but in truth, I would still FAR more prefer to read your polite posts in caps lock than some of the REALLY rude stuff posted here in lower case! For all the lack of effort shown on this forum towards REAL netiquette, having to endure these self appointed forum police rail at YOU for mere capitalization simply shows how completely they don't 'get it'... Showing politeness and netiquette on a forum is MUCH more than a question of caps lock!

You want to show more than lip service to netiquette, you've got to rail just as hard at the rude things people POST here as you do in the caps they post them in! Otherwise, you are just being petty and nitpicking...

BTW, Gunnar, the reason there's much CAPITALIZATION here at SZ is because the forum software doesn't easily allow you to underline or bold a word or statement without laboriously typing in the UBB code for it... Capitalization is all that is easily left for emphasis.

Diki Is absolutely right in what he says there is a lot of tosh , Caps or no CAPS, he can see tosh a million miles away, I do hope you enjoy your PA2x I have had mine for around 6 months now, there are a few little niggling things like the Leds on the buttons should be in the middle not at the top, it’s a bit confusing it looks like you are always using the top part of the voices but I have got use to it. For £2450.00 I think it’s a good buy, I hope you have much fun with yours. I still have my Audya but the dealer is trying to sell it for me, I think people are holding back with buying after all the troubles , OS3 did appear to fix most of the faults but Ketron have not done themselves any favors, that’s their problem they are supposed to be the experts.
