It was time for an early Christmas gift. No more distorted harmonies, no more.... I looked at the HarmonyM, but it didn't have enough features. With the VL2 you get up to 8 back up vocals: Things like Pink Floyd: Another Brick in the Wall, singing in an Arena with fans as your back up, Gregorian Chant, Kanye West and of course all your favorite standards. With over 200 Presets I'll be busy for a while... The harmonies sound so real, that even my wife said wow... Check out the video two: http://www.tc-helicon.com/voicelive2.asp The set up was super easy. I just hit set up Midi on the VL2 and it did it automatically. I recorded something real quick on the internal hard drive of the T3 without any editing; just to demonstrate the VL2; so don't be too hard on me... http://www.box.net/shared/8k81znfygy Eric [This message has been edited by Eric, B (edited 11-25-2009).]

Hi montunoman, I used my T3 with a midi I got for my T2 (but I also have a style for that song). I edited and revoiced some tracks, turned on the Voice Live2 hooked it up to the Tyros3 and recorded it directly to the internal hard drive of the T3. My main purpose was to show the quality of the Voice Live2. I love it. Eric [This message has been edited by Eric, B (edited 11-27-2009).]

Hi Tom Not a problem, because I was able to buy the VL2 from the money I saved by getting a great deal on the T3. I heard on the YPKO forum that Yamaha is talking with TC Helicon and that the T4(?) might get one... Who knows. Anyways, I don't have to sell the VL2 if I get a new KB. It'll last for a while. That's great news, Eric, if it is true. Certainly Yamaha's tired old vocalizer needs to be retired, although guys like Dan Rymut have tamed the snarly beast very nicely. I use the harmonizer on the S910 to run my CS01 mono synth through, and achieve pseudo polyphony. Ian

It's an incredible device, but for me it has too many foot-switch buttons that are relatively close to each other. I don't want to look down to activate the harmonizer, or change base keys. Just want to set it up, turn it on or off when needed--that's all.
