I too am happy to see two of the Pro’s back on the board! Since I am seeing some initial heat on the SZ tonight I thought maybe I'd try to induce some “chillin’”. Without further adieu, here’s my version of “Frosty” with me on sax and a talented friend on guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dp-kZ_Y6EU
The video is short because my camera batteries were dying so my wife wasn’t able to capture all the song. I ended up having to patch pieces of it together to get a semi-complete version.
Wishing you all a safe, prosperous, and music-filled New Year! Happy holidays to all and to all a good (cool and calm) night!
Randy

Guys - thanks so much for the kind words! It was fun putting the video together and I was pleasantly surprised to find the "snow maker" in my movie editor. Wish I could have included the guitar solo as well but the camera was stopped right in the middle of it. I will post some other cuts out there shortly which will feature the guitar player who has studied w/George Benson among others.
Thanks again to each of you for listening and for the nice words of encouragement!
Dan - being a "sax addict" I totally agree with you and I love seeing live sax videos on the 'net.
PS - guys, I also got the S910 for Xmas!! Mega thanks to Frankieve for assisting Santa and to Ian and Steve for assisting me with sound advice on style handling!
Great day to all of you!
Randy

Nice stuff as always, Randy. Played with Jim at a rehearsal a few months ago, along with Charlie Cetti, dixie cornetist and Joe Occhipinti. As it turned out I was unavailable for the gig.
Keep that smooth stuff comin'. I just subscribed to you on youtube

Randy, I'm a big Bossa fan and a fan of DIRTY tone....the Gato B. sound. I know many good players with all the ideas in the world, but the tone just isn't there.
You "got the tone", dude!
That's one of my favorite little bossas, by the way.
