Don, Why is it being moved to the grave yard, no one uses this site, it's a cul-de-sac, layby, siding, slip road, dead end. Got me beat! Perhaps your right Don that's where it should be OS4, with the undead! Regards

I tire of all the bickering but the arranger forum, if left strictly to arranger only, will die a slow and painful death, methinks. Movement (posting) is key in any forum, else, it dies.

Dennis, I was the one that posted about a friend's passing....but I thought it was perfectly okay..because Tom was a arranger performer for 30 years....and there were other SZoners that knew Tom.. Personally I do not see any problem with off topics posted in this General arranger forum...after all they are arranger users, and everyone knows each other...I agree with Bill..get picky about what is posted and you will have a lot less to get picky over in the near future...

Fran my comment was not directed at anyone in particular, so don't feel any need to explain what you did. And I do not believe having death notices and all the other topics I mentioned moved to more appropriate locations is being "picky". That goes for new "gear" announcements as well Unless the gear happens to be an arranger. And of course you can say a new speaker system is related to general arrangers, and yes it is linked, but it is not specifically about arrangers. As I said earlier, just rename it to the General Muso's forum, or similar.... I know if I want to look for anything Korg specific, I look either to the Korg forum here, or at Irishacts, ditto for anything Yamaha or Roland. I go to the specific forum. I come to the General Arranger forum to look for and discuss arranger issues. But, that's just me And look, if this WERE to become the "General" forum, thats cool and I would have NO problems with folks posting about anything at all
