Fran, you left out the crucial letter. I'm guessing it's the class A though, as the class D version is fairly new to the line. Class D's are more efficient but may not sound as good. I noticed that they're both priced the same (-CA vs -CD). Wish I had a side by side comparison, though, as I'm thinking about getting a pair (the price is right ) to go with my (as yet unused) Edirol M??10 mixer . If the combo sounds good, I'll find a use for it (that would be just over $500 for a fairly flexible and powerful PA - not bad).

PS: Please stay out of my life; you're too expensive .

Looks like we crossed posts. Yeah, that's pretty much what I found.

Maybe we should asking why the other's are so much..

First we are buying from the importer..eliminating a jobber and a dealer..

The only question that had to be answered..would they hold up...It's been over 11 months since I purchased the first 2 pair of 802's..They are still working as new..

The 1503's since July and the 1204's since september or October..

I love that frequency response of 20 or 30-20,000 khz.

They should be sued for false advertisement!

Sorry guys, but I just had to say this.

BTW, compliments on those covers Fran. Your buddy did a great job.

Those covers are cool. I need a friend like that. Fran, how close is that 12" to the 15". There is a substantial weight difference and I'd rather have the 12's if they've got the goods. In other words, I want a 12 that sounds like a 15. Whaddya think?

BTW, I talked to a few more audiophile types and they agree with you that the class A, B, and AB all sound somewhat better than the class D, although the newest high-end Class D's sound pretty good.

Chas..you want a 12 that sounds like a 15...look no farther..you found it..

The 15 inch version ..same design as the 1204 ca..is about 9 pounds more..

Don't forget these models have the built in MP3 player..
