Hi All,
Thought it was worth a mention that one of our Members Ian Mc has been recognized for his contribution to the style collection for the Yamaha Psr 910.His work on the Freestyle, which I am led to belive is Available on the YPKO site to download, has received a personal mention in the 2010 Keyboard Magazines in depth report on the PSR910 by Andrew Gilbert, a well known reviewer, Player and Teacher in the UK.
Well done Ian and hope I have caused you no embarrassment.

Gilbert.

Could someone kindly post a link to that download. I can't seem to find it on YKPO.

Thanks
Tim

Congratulations Ian,
it's a really great style. You were kind enough to send it to me a while back so that I could convert it for my PA800.
( I haven't shared , since I didn't ask your permission. haahaa)

Please upload the link to the demo song you used the style with. It was a really beautiful version of the song.

best wishes
Rikki

Thanks very much to everyone. The whole thing was a complete surprise to me.

Gilbert, and then Donny (DNJ) sent me the article...thanks guys...BTW, when is Donny due to return? He's missed around here.

Rikki, I lost the demo MP3 and Wav when my laptop died, but I think I still have the MIDI file, so I'll make another audio recording on the S910.

Thanks to all,

Ian

That is awesome Ian, congrats on the recognition for your contribution.

Well DNJ will be back in the future but he was the one responsible for his extended absence so no-one else is to blame. He is a big boy and has to take responsiblity for his own actions.

Very well done from me as well Ian.

I have a "hollies" one you did a while back (for the T1 I think) that I still use on the T3.

Regards - Keith

Thanks Nigel and Keith...much appreciated.

Nigel, I hope Donny gets back soon...it's like part of the dysfunctional family is missing.

Life is short.

Keith, I still use that style myself, for He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother and several other medium tempo ballads.

Glad it works for you.

Ian
