I don't think Ketron have much say over what a dealer puts up on their website.
If the dealer wants to shoot themselves in the foot, that's their lookout. I just am starting to find it hard to believe how BAD most demos are today, even many factory ones. I've heard the most Godawful rackets from Roland, Korg, Lionstracs (OMG! those set new lows!
), Wersi, you name it. Only Yamaha seem to grasp the concept that, if people hear a lousy demo, they are going to assume it's a lousy product... after all, 'that's a PROFESSIONAL demonstrating the product, isn't it? If HE can't make it sound good, what chance have I?'
Doesn't stop Ketron's own demos still being pretty amazing, though. Bottom line for me has always been, is HOW much better the Audya sounds worth HOW MUCH more it costs..?
Jury is still out on that one, as far as I am concerned. This pile of poo didn't do anything but muddy the waters.
