XP-30 with included expansions
I use it for a midi controller cause the sounds suck, and the drums/drum kits are a weak excuse for sampled presets. I hate presets and keyboards with presets.

Howdy, guys! I'm the proud new owner of a Roland XP-60 with the Orchestral, SFX and Techno expansions. I've been reading on this board for a bit. I probably will have a bunch of questions for you all as I learn how to fully utilize this synth's really awesome abilities. Anyhoot, just sayin' hi!

I recently bought an XP-50. Had a tough time with it at first, but am now getting comfortable. I recommend all new owners to get the manual ($29 from Roland). It will save you much frustration. My xp-50 came with the 60's and 70's keyboard expansion card. There are some great hammond organ sounds on the card. I also like the Piano/Strings on PR A-12.

Hi eveeryone
How come I do not see a lot of JV-2080 mentioned?

Am I the only one that has it?

I'm Ken with an XP-80 who has bought the Roland training video on how to use it and can't even find time to watch it!

But I will, soon, honestly!

I just hope music-life begins at 40!
