If you make a G70/E80 option for Roland with both a 61 and 76 key option, you also need to make a PA2X/PA800 option for Korg. Both are basically the same instruments in a 76 and 62 version. The differences are only minor.

Why don't we get hat size too? I'm sure we could draw some kind of conclusion from that as well. Or height, hair color (or lack thereof!), shoe size, waistline...

Wouldn't it be a gas to find out that Yamaha's are mostly bought by slim, tall redheads! And Roland's by short blond trolls...

Diki,

Just for once, no one is taking a blind bit of notice of you, shame! Must be that KB you've got. Not street cred, and you know what I've got, I've told you a 1000 times.

Cheers Diki.

Well......technically speaking, some members are including keyboards no longer in production like the G70 and E 80 (besides the KN 7000), so, to be fair, the Ketron SD1 should be also included.... And also the PA800 since is the 61 keys sibling of the PA2X very much like the G70 & E80.

What was so hard to understand?..I limited the head count to the "top of the line " models...meaning the best, most expensive models...either current or the last production models..

This was an intended comparison "head count"...not a competition...

It has shown me that the sales of the top models is on a even field, without a large dominance..

I thought the count of the "top" models would be a better indication of sales among most pro players (meaning pay to play)...

I set up a manufacturer list initially to make it easier to count the results...

BTW: If we were to get a head count of the "most used" arranger keyboard (professionally)...the results of the folks I "know"...the G1000 would "still" lead the way...

The only fair head count was as I tried to maintain..

The Roland E-80/G70 are similar top models..and not the same comparison of the Korg PA800 and PA2x...(just the price comparison will confirm this)...

I guess the comparison of user models here at SZ, has giving us an idea ..how equal the "top arranger keyboard " market is....sales wise..
