Silly question for bikers, Tony. Yep, they're called 'pipes'

. As for riding safe, don't worry. With a replacement hip, I'm VERY careful. Besides, although torque-y, it has a very modest top end. Did I mention that I got my first Harley '74' when I was 16 or 17? and I've owned @ 18 bikes since then. I also have an electric moped, a gas moped, and a Honda Elite scooter. My next 'bike' will probably be from 'The Scooter Store', but only if Medicare approves it

PS: Actually, what I really want (at my age) is a Can-Am Spyder, but at 23,000, it may have to wait until after my wife passes (oh, shut up, that was a joke)
