To all Korg PA-500 musicians,

As from today I am offering my new Musical Resources for PA-500 and PA-500Muzikant as SHAREWARE.

This is the most recent version of my Musical Resources in which virtually all
of the original 256 PERFORMANCES have been renewed and/or altered. In addition there are approximately 100 extra internal styles (leaving the factory presets untouched however),64 user styles, 64 user sounds and 32 user pads.

It is early days yet of course and so far I have only offered the PA-500 software that I programmed as shareware. Currently some folks are working hard on my software to convert it properly for PA-800 and PA-2X and this should be ready by next week.
It will depend on the reaction and donations of the PA-500 users whether I will also offer that software as Shareware or whether I will simply sell it at a (bargain) price.
Within the last 24 hours already 15 PA-500 have downloaded my software so it will be interesting to see how the wind blows.......

I haven't been around for a while ( taking a keyboard break) so wasn't aware of your project. Sounds interesting.

I guess we shared the "keyboard break" but welcome back all the same. And yes, on the risk of sounding arrogant, this stuff is really something to look forward to.
I will keep you posted. I have had several folks from Down Under writing to me, even about my old software for the PA50/80.

I may be taking a longer break than I'd anticipated, just switched my PA800 on after a few weeks break, my LCD screen has gone dark. Tried the contrast setting, but it didn't help much.
Off to the forum to see if anyone can shed any light. ( excuse the pun haahaa)

As from July 1st I have withdrawn my Shareware offer regards the Korg PA-500 software. Meanwhile the same software is now available in 4 formats for PA-500, PA-500musikant, PA-800 and PA-2X.
