Need to replace my Kases KKP-9KB case. The new versions are smaller and the kb will not fit.

Outside of the case from Oostendorf in the Netherlands, I have not seen anything for the Tyros that makes sense.

If the Tuffbox is what it says it is then this seems to make sense to me.

It says it's 10 - 12 lbs. Do you think that possible if they are using 1/4 inch plywood?

Otherwise if anyone has an older version of the Kaces Porter KKP-9KB I may be intersted in that.

Other than that, all the others are either too long, too small one way or the other, weighs a ton, etc, etc

I really wish Yamaha would listen to us guys regarding cases for a frickin' change.

Scott

can't be plywood with that weight
from picture it looks like very thick plastic or paper material.
Sort of like those boxes made to pack up drums

if you want good protection you may want to get something more heavy duty

this same company makes better cases but at extra cost and for sure double the weight

$450 for a keyboard case is absolutely RIDICULOUS

Not if you traveled and need a high quality flight case for a $4,000 keyboard ..and you need to rely on it to function correctly when it gets to the destination..

If you are using a sub $1,000 keyboard that is easily available with no outstanding advantages than maybe a sub $100 case will do..

Professional player..professional keyboard...professional flight case.....Makes sense to me..

I have the yamaha case that dnj posted the link to. It's pretty darn big but I have done lots of air travel and my Tyros has not been damaged.

Nice ...I wish they made one for the S910 also. Well worth the money.

Lee, just because they may call a case a flight case ..doesn't make it so..

I too have a $200 case for my G70..it is nowhere near a "flight case"..If I were one that needed to travel by air..I would not rely on my $200 case to protect my G70...If I handled the instrument it would be fine...but other far careless personnel handle the gear on flights..spending an addition $200 is a wise investment..

I also have a similar $200 case for my MS...

a $100 case for my Prelude..

a $50 bag for my A-33 controller..

and a $300 SKB case for my Kn2000..
