Yes , that is what the link was { is } for !

Yamaha did release a new Motif , the XF.

I don`t know if Yamaha will hold to there "normal" cycle of 3 years , or release a T-4 this year.

Here it is August already , and only rumors , my guess is next year.

However , I have been wrong before.

Personally , I would pass on any new Yamaha , unless it was something way radical and as I stated before , I just don`t think they { Yamaha } are ready.

Mike, do you know anything about music retail and what a dealer pays for a keyboard ? I worked in music retail for 22 years, so I am qualified to help you get an idea of cost. If you don't please email me privately and I will explain it to you. Perhaps than you will understand that what you assume as huge profits is just the opposite.

I agree that the cost is way to much.

IMO , the T-3 is not worth the price , too much plastic and as already stated , too much to pay for added stuff that should be free.

Even though I was able to get mine at a great price ( once again , many thanks to Frank ).

It still was a deal breaker when Yamaha wanted more and more $$$ to keep it current.

I`m still do not regret bailing out , but it is a great keyboard at too high a price.

I just could not imagine paying what some of the web sites sell it for , talk about a heart break !!
