Hi Rich Z You may wish to look at the Lionstracs range of keyboards http://www.lionstracs.com/ as if you are prepared to put a bit of work in they can give you the best of both. Also if you can find a second hand Wersi Abacus or Ikarus, these will also give you access to the latest technology, are easy to use, and can also load VST instruments. If it’s just modern technology with upgradability you are after, then the Wersi Pegasus Wing http://www.wersidirect.com/www.wersidirect.com/Pegasus_Wing.html is due out in November and this may be right up your street. Remember if you keep hanging on for the next best product, you will never buy anything at all. Just a few more options to choose from Bill

BillWell, I do admit that the Mediastation sure looks intriguing, but for some reason the Wersi just didn't do it for me. Of course, finding either of these things near Tallahassee, FL to look at personally will be pretty much an impossibility. I can't even find a Korg PA2xPro anywhere nearby.... And yeah, I know what you mean about constantly waiting for the next generation, but it appears to me that there has been some substantial time elapsed since major releases across the board, so I'm thinking waiting a few months might be a darn good idea.
