its not the size of the download, it is mainly the way it is deployed. Ketron Italy wanted to make sure this major upgrade went as safely and smoothly as possible with the smallest amount of risk of data corruption or user mistakes, and as service manage I can tell you that many people are just not getting the normal update procedure where you have to connect to a PC. If this had been a download it would have been disaster.
and genesys, not sure why you think ketron are doing bad - it has been extremely succesful for us here in the UK. As for supporting second hand keyboards, it makes no difference to us wether an Audya is new or second hand to us, if their keyboard originated with us we will support them.
So far not one of our owners has complained about the small cost of the USB drive and not one has had a problem installing this way. The only people to complain are those that do not have - or have no intention of owning an Audya.
