Hi

It's NOT a bug. Almost every keyboard have this "problem". My Fantom G does not and it was one of the new futures, that holding down a key and then select a new voice without any noise. I have noticed the same noice when playing the Tyros 1,2,3 and the G-70.

Niels

i dont think this happens on my G-70
will have to recheck

if the sound does not change, why should the effects? makes no sense

AJ, please let ketron know about this "bug"

i don't think they meant it to be like this and can't see anyone wanting to hear noise and FX changes

and of course i know the AUDYA is not perfect, but we nust point out all the flaws and hope that most are corrected

My issue with the Tyros2/Tyros3 is that if you are using a sound (TVN/UVN) the ones you add on into the "expansion" area....a big noise happens, you must lift your fingers and sync your movements.

This do not happen on the Korgs I have.

Hi leezone

I think most keyboard players know this issue. When you change the sound and still holding down the key the previous sound is still there until you release the note. So it's not a bug, it's normal.

am i speaking English?
or i'm not being clear?

the problem is THIS:

the old sound remains,
but FX changes to the new sound's FX

play a full chord
hold chord down
now change sound (while holding chord)
LISTEN CAREFULLY,
sound remains same (as it SHOULD)
what changes is the FX to the new sound's FX
so you get a click, and new sound's FX with old sound

what should happen is sound AND FX should remain same, UNTIL you release chord and re-trigger

then when you retrigger,
then and only then
you should get the new sound AND the new FX

I understand what you are saying. It's still normal and not a bug.

sorry, no way this is normal

if sound and FX changed maybe it would be normal (though not to peoples liking)

but NOT part of the sound changing, and the other part remaining

that IS NOT normal, and IS a bug

i mean...

you would want to play a nice choir or string
sustain it
then switch sound (while sustaining)
and then you want to hear a click sound
and have your strings or choir with distotion or a wah effect because you've chosen a guitar sound?

i don't think so...this is not "normal"
