now guys, believe it or not,
i am yet to play with my new toy
i have been so busy
and first i wanna create a COMPLETE backup of the AUDYA 4 as it is from factory

so while playing with Franks AUDYA 5
i notice the following: (please confirm)

-play ANY sound, a sustaining sound like a pad lets say,

-hold down sound

-next change to a new sound,

-the sound does not change, BUT

what's up with the effects changing, and there's a click noise,

so if you go from pad to a crazy wah like sound,
your pad now has wah, without ever retriggering sound

nothing should change , not sound, not effects, till you retrigger sound

please confirm this

is this a known bug?
this needs to be fixed

Dnj,

a normal thing?
i don't think so...

why would i want my effects changing, and a loud click when changing sounds (while sustaining the notes)

also, i did notice this when i tried it, but of course that's not going to stop me from buying it

Is this something that you would do musically while playing your Audya 4 ?

The whole example you give doesn't sound like something I would want to do.

Leezone,

I don't know why you want to do that, but I can change sounds in my Audya while holding the keys with-out any issues or weird sounds as you say.
Tested the same with a korg PA800. Both keyboards react the same way.
Some times the weird sounds (oh crap, I hit the wrong note, wrong chord) are coming from us and no the keyboards.

i will check on my AUDYA4 soon

yes, this is something i would do alot during a gig, hold sound, and then change sound (while holding), especially on ballads

Lee you weren't naive enough to think the unit was perfect did you?

Does it happen on your G70 also?
