just wondering how to boost the volume of headphones louder on AUDYA4
it seems the overall volume on headphones is way, way soft, even at when main is MAX, and all parts are all way up,
on my XD3, if i put it full blast, it is VERY LOUD, almost unbearable... on the AUDYA 4, at full blast, it's just, comfortable (in a quiet environment)
i need it much louder, thanks to anyone that can help

What has this got to do with a headphone volume? You don't record off of those, do you? AJ, you shouldn't have to adjust the entire sound card output (and risk clipping the main outputs) to provide a decent enough gain for the headphone out... This is just poor design, plain and simple. Lee, if I were you, I wouldn't jack around with the main soundcard output level. They are where they are for a reason. I'd buy an inexpensive headphone amplifier, and put that inline between the headphone output (keep that REAL low, now) and your 'phones... Or, even better, use it on the line outs of your Audya (main outs are always cleaner than headphone outs) or the headphone output of your mixer (most have those, anyway). Last resort, rather than adjust the main soundcard, would be look for much more sensitive headphones. Some are a LOT louder than others...
