Lee,

EXIT (only lights up when AUDYA is connected to a computer and there is USB information, hence the USB in small font/blue). Otherwise, it simply exits you from current screen.

PAUSE (only lights up when playing a file e.g. MIDIFILE) and you PAUSE it. Otherwise, it's used (in Arranger Mode) to restart (when style is playing) or count in (when style is not playing).

This is not a problem as it's how it was designed to function. Many buttons on Ketron products have multiple functions (depending on the current status of the machine).

Thanks,

AJ

nothing happened, it did not light

i'm glad it's not a "defect" in my AUDYA

Why doesnt Ketron notice these things during testing/beta, quality control...etc?

On this last example, why test for something that is not a "bug" ?

Good points Dan.....just some better quality control before release is the key to less problems down the road with any company.

The ONLY 'bug' Lee has found isn't REALLY a 'bug', either. Just poor implementation of the loop resolution.

Everything else is simply normal behavior that Lee could have easily found out by PLAYING his G70 before he posted (but you know what a hair trigger he is on! ), or he could have contacted AJ and queried FIRST before posting his alarmist threads here.

Lee, perhaps you haven't noticed this yet, but there are many looking for ANY reason to dis the Audya, and providing fuel for the flames before you have even worked out if there even IS a problem is only going to add to the problem. Plus, there are those that are teetering on the edge of buying an Audya, and your calling out 'Fire!' in a crowded room before you've even seen the flames is hardly going to help them decide in Ketron's favor...

How about NOT posting here until a bug is actually confirmed?

Or Lee maybe email AJ or Ketron privately first to see if the problems can be corrected on the Audya....."BUG" is such a nasty word ketron doesn't derve the bad rap...they are a smaller company doing a very good job I would say.

They've already been harmed enough by Tony's months long rant about a problem that boiled down to an incorrect installation of the sounds and OS...

Look, guys, this forum seems full of people with fanboy agendas, and going off half-cocked about things that boil down to simply being a noob on a new piece of gear only encourages them!

Show a little responsibility... stick your 'bug' reports where they belong (no, not there, Donny! )... On the manufacturer's OWN forum, and wait until they are confirmed before you post them HERE. Don't give the claques any more fuel than you HAVE to... (but don't, unlike some of the fanboys, actually hide bugs once they ARE determined to be those).

Mine don't work as well , but I am not so sure they are supposed to. the pause /count in trigers the start button and the exit button is an instant action that would really have no purpose to light because it is a return to style/voice etc. of course I'm not sure. Everything seems to work fine and as you know sounds incredible.
