i do wish they had just chose to update the Tyros 3, even if you had to pay a few hundred for the update. Had I have paid £4000 two years ago I would be a bit miffed.

Updates are software... as easily swapped and copied as styles are. Tough to make any decent money on something that people can easily pirate.

Small changes is another way of cloaking old parts and reduce stock inventory...

I believe it will sound fantastic, but I don't know how much better compared to T3.

On one end, if it is only a little better than the T3, it will ease the mind of the many people who bought a T3 recently. If it is leaps and bounds better, they will cry tears as big as October cabbages.

I posted my laconic comment not aimed at you Donny, but at the "reviewer". Diki did a much better job at articulating my feelings about the last line.

Ketron have managed it although they are not making money out of it just yet, despite the major upgrade recently. The USB update only works on one Audya, Future styles will most likely be the same and will only work with the Audya you purchased the style for.

I have a feeling that those who have managed to download it illegally will run into problems when trying to buy styles and will end up having to get their own genuine USB drive anyway.

Correct.

The Tyros4 just blew them further away...that's all.

http://www.synthesizer.co.uk/ is an online shop that wants to sell as much T4's as possible..

I think biased is the wrong word here. As an opinion this review holds absolutely no value at all.

Tough some of the facts might be true.

OPA!!!!!

Thanks Donny.
BTW if the OPA at the end meant that you thought the "cabbages" line is of Greek origin, it is not. I got it from the intro of a British movie... Lock, stock & two smoking barrels
