You can tell easily just by listening to how only the volume of the sounds changes. There is no tonal difference between a soft note and a loud not, no expression and not even the attack changes.

Still interested in hearing how James did his violin demo...

Nothing else on this thread comes even close, IMO, sorry to say (not that there's anything wrong with the playing, just how the samples behave).

You can add me to the list of those who are waiting to find out how James did it. I'd buy the whole keyboard to get a sound like that.

BTW...even though I liked the James violin over the Niels one, I can't say I didn't enjoy the way he (Niels) played the song. I never heard such a pretty version of Annie Laurie. Downloaded it to my hard drive.
