don't know if this was posted yet, but I just noticed this on the Korg website:

HI Shim, it's interesting that this slipped through our attention. This seems like a direct competitor to the MidJay. I see you can use it as a sound source for a Midi Keyboard using Korg's sound engine. That sounds intriguing.

I did get a chuckle from the following line in the ad; "a massive 120 GB hard drive". I know this is a enough space for this little guy, but my laptop has had 500 gb for 2 years and Western Digital just announced a 3 Terra-byte Hard disk for $279.00 for sale. 120 gig just doesn't sound as massive as it once did.

I'm curious to see if they pulled these functions out of the Pa2xpro and put it in a little box?

Would be great if it were an arranger as well...
The Audya4 has nothing to worry about

I've been playing around with one for awhile. It's not bad, it's a direct competitor of the midjay, except no styles.

That seems expensive to me.

Didn't the Midjay do styles as well?

$2000 is ridiculous for a karaoke player.

I Agree, you could purchase one hell of a computer and software for $2000.

Wow....

The midjay is also an arranger with rh solo voices @ $1800. The korg seems way over priced.

I could not agree more. Why do they come up with dumb products like the Midjay and that one, who will be aimed solely at who's looking for an hi-tech midi file player?

Slap on it a complete arranger section AND a full-fledged sequencer for those who compose too and hate computers (like me) and you have an unique product.

Hi Nedim,

What other "useless piece of c$%p" have they made in the last year or so?
