WOW! Now I know I'm really old--W3JQL, and I only wished I lived in Sooth Florida right now. Today's weather in Baltimore is raining and 49 degrees.

This was my first receiver, a Hallicrafters SX-43. It got so hot you could cook breakfast on the top. I cut lawns and served newspapers all summer long and purchased it in 1952. At the time it was considered the TOTL in this part of the world.

Cheers,

Gary

ok,ok.....let's stay on point you excited Ham Fans!!!

I'm just trying to find out if we have enough folks down here in the Sunshine state to hold a mini-get together every once in a while to check out each others keyboards. We don't have many Ketron dealers down here, so it would be nice to share our experiences.

Sounds like Mark, Bernie, Charley, Clover_kid are pretty local; Diki, Scott, and Randy are a little further away, as is Jim, Nick, Eddie, and John. They we have the honorary Floridians, Fran and Steven.

Maybe we should plan a get together? Anyone interested?

Al
