What sounds are you missing from OS 3.0 and earlier? We would like to make these available and incoorporate with your new 4.0 sounds.

So far, we have the following requests from 3.0 or earlier.

I can't say as I never had os3

But AJ. Some styles on my XD3 I prefer
Like cumbion on XD3 was better
Pasodoble was better on XD3
Twist was better on xd3

Maybe make those available on audyas

Can I simply copy from floppy to USB
And load in AuDya?

Will they sound exactly the same?

You mean the GM sounds? Non of the AUDIO drums were taken out (just more added)- however they were tonned down in the EQ (STYLE MODE - DRUMS 2/2) to get a 'softer' mix.

AJ, I'm talking about drum sounds not wave loop. before sound upgrade. if you play the 3 superkit of if you edit all the drumkit when change sound you can found many hithat, many toms, many snare, ride and crash (all stereo sounds) that now are removed (Marcello told because need free space for new sounds like sax ecc) this was fantastic drum sounds that can be mixed in all the drum kit best crash ride ecc. now they are removed. and the only way is to be in "ins" format. of course this sound can be uset to gm too because before soundupgrade I can make a gm drum kit that use this fantastic drum sound that now are missing (without tell us !!) I want it now

i am also missing gm drum sounds..it was better in 3.0

yes, for example some snare play very different volume on note velocity, unbalanced. some snare hight some less. I prefer gm sound drum 3.0 too. I'm thinking that maybe they don't be attention to drum sound drum kit (you can see many drum kit has the same crash for every note) because be attention to other sounds and think all people us wav drums, but is not true. think about midifile, or remix styles, is important have good drum kit. and after sound upgrade the drum sounds are bad sorry, but is true lose too much sounds

I'm not really missing sounds. I do wish the rock lead guitars would sound better. More like Korg or Roland.

I wish the synth sounds were named on page one. Synth1 - synth2 synth 3 etc.. hard to make it remember which ones I liked. If you jump to page 2 , all the sounds have names.

I would suggest, if the Audya has a decent guitar amp simulator, of trying to put a clean guitar sound (Tele, Strat, etc.) into it and get the crunch there. I have little time for sampled distortion, as it doesn't do what guitars actually do when you play more than one note on them.

i just want to say,
MUCH more important than what sounds are missing/better in OS3, etc, is...

FIXING those audio loop glitches, where it repeats drum audio loops etc,
as can be heard in the example i posted in another post...

timing in styles is WAY more important than a slightly better sound for a guitar, or a different sax

I also think we have to get rid of those glitches, many of my not so musically talented friends hear that there comes glithes that almost makes a little pause before it loops audio.

Better drum sets, all the midi controlled drums sounds terrible.
Include the drums from the loops to the drum sets!

is these glitches still going on in teh new Audya 5 also?

yes these audio glitches are present in BOTH the AUDYA 4 and 5

hopefully 4.1C or 5.0 will fix these issues

i ghope so at those prices it should almost flawless...we'll see......when is the new Os update going to be available?
