Cass- The one from Audiolines is a floor demo, not a new in the box one,. Therefore, GC won't match it...

I also have to call them first and confirm they actually still have it.

Sweetwater didn't match when I tried. I don't remember if I tried GC or not, but i doubt they'll go that low.

I received my r10 in 2-3 days, boxed and ready to use. Not a B stock or return either.

oh yeah, floor demo. They told me that, but mine was new in a box.

Here's my post from 8/09 recounting my buy. Maybe this will help, Bill.

Bill... I've been using the R8 for several years and very happy with it. Holds everything in one trip - keyboard, keyboard stand, Bose Compact, 2 mic stands, 24" bag full of mics, cables and stuff, and my folding stool.

IMO you can't go wrong with either the R8 or R10

I have seen Gary Diamond use his with the shelf that he added. It is very slick in both its simplicity and ease of operation. I would follow his advice.

Guys - have used the R10 for several years and love it! I can pack my complete PA system and all my sax junk on there and on top (when fully extended) the R10 is just long enough to allow me to fit my Tyros 2 in its SKB case on top! Works great! Excellent purchase!

As for the shelf, the one that they make is a heavy, piece of junk. Several months ago I posted a photo of the shelf modification that I created, which consists of nothing more than two lengths of 1-inch box aluminum fitted with detent pins. It takes just 10 seconds to install, lightweight, easily stored and transported, completely corrosion proof. Cost about $40 and took 30 minutes to make using a hacksaw and drill. It is capable of supporting approximately 150 pounds.

From my perspective the Rock & Roller R-10 is the best thing since sliced bread.

Gary

Can you guide me to this modifications? please.

thanks
