So Dan, this is starting to sound interesting. Ketron and Yamaha styles. What about 3 part layered right hand settings. What about Registraion Memory buttons, or preset buttons? Does varranger have this?

Hi Scott,

You can very easily select up to 5 sounds (layers) for right hand, and 3 sounds for the left hand (or second keyboard).

After you create your own USER MULTI SOUND, you just have to save it.

400 presets are offered out of the box for the Ketron SD2, that make it sounding a lot more good than before.

The registrations are here too !
You can save the right hand sound with the registration, as well as your 10 favorites sounds for that song, for direct access, as well as the JPG score of the song displayed on a second screen...

All is fully controllable by PC/MIDI

You can do everything you want.

Just look at the varranger forums, to see how things are going on, and how buyers are happy

Let me know if you need more informations

It depends...

Many musicians (Me too) are using it in Live condition.

as you can see here

...

There is many controlling options.

Of course, a yamaha keyboard with a lot of buttons like your s990 is very good too.

The 2 systems have their own interest.

I personnaly use my Ketron SD1 on some gigs, and love to take my vArranger + SD2, on some other gigs.
Depend on the context...

Between the two of us, I think there's an opportunity here that could be explored.

Hi Rikky,

Why do you need the audya styles?

I did'nt added the audya file support on the vArranger because the audya styles uses a lot of audio stuffs, to sound good. But I can add the Audya style format in a next version. I already know most of things about this format.

Tell me your reason.

Dnj, my gigs are using a lot of sound and style change too, but I organised my new controller to be able to gig with vArranger.

But I can understand your feeling.

Maybe I will create a special hardware to make things easier

Dan for me and many other live players NAVAGATION and SPLIT SECOND CHANGES on stage are imperative....going from one song to another with 1 or 2 seconds in between songs is essential to keep the energy going on the dance floor.....that is what I look for in a KB...and in a PC based arranger, vst, or whatever program also.......in a studio setting there's no rush when recording, editing, etc, but on live stage it's another story... I wish you good luck.

Hi Dan,
there's actually an Audya Style editor of sorts.
ie midifile to style.

Something earlier Ketrons lacked ie a style editor.

Better still, if you wrote an editor of your own. haahaa

best wishes
