Can someone just plug an usb drive on it's new tyros 4, and copy the style folders?
then send them to me? I want to try them on my system.

I want to try them with vArranger.

This software can play Ketron styles, but also Yamaha tyros styles, including the yamaha new SFF GE format introduced with the Tyros 3 it's super guitars.

A special algorythm was created to allow the yamaha guitar / bass noises, megavoices, and drums to sound on the Ketron SD2 / Ketron SD4 sound module.

So you can here even the fret noises...

I had to take train a go far to gig. The local sound man give me a Roland Juno keyboard, that I used only like a midi keyboard, and I took on my luggages a very cheap and lightweight 49 keys CME usb keyboard.

It was interresting that I was able to assign also the Roland buttons to control the sound change on vArranger.

I really enjoyed playing with 2 keyboards with just one midi module, and a computer, at this level of sound quality and the amazing arranger on a big 4000Watt speakers system !

I had a similiar feeling playing music like on My Ketron SD1. forgetting that it's was a software on a PC

I wonder how well this program would run on my Lionstracs Mediastation. I've my own Virtual SD2 in software form that behaves exactly like the real SD2.

Is there a demo version available ?

The vArranger software is working only under windows. Sorry..

I personnaly own an old mediastation, and installed Windows 7 on it.

I also started to develop a driver for the MediaStation under windows.

There is no driver for the audio card.

If someone is interrested, i will put more efforts on it.

All the software on my Mediastation is for Windows and they all run fine under Linux with Wine.

From what I gather if it's anything like Live Styler, all I should have to do is route the midi out from your program to Linux Sampler and it should work.

I can boot my keyboard up as a virtual SD2.

If you had a demo version, it would be very interesting to explore this since Live Styler is going nowhere.

BUT, I am NOT a Yamaha Tyros4 owner...
Instead I'm now sitting back and waiting for after the Winter NAMM Show in January to see what Yamaha, KORG & Roland releases in the way of TOTL/MOTL units......meanwhile my S910 is doing a marvelous job day after day......
I will however be Auditioning an Audya 5 midweek also can't wait....
In STEREO of Course
