Am I the ONLY one being driven crazy by the over use of the velocity triggered hammer-on in the opening guitar sound?
And sorry, but a swing and a miss on that ending distorted sound. Couple of good moments, but no-one is fooled, are they?
Oh, BTW, I LOVED that you couldn't actually play the arranger piano part on a 61! Obviously, Yamaha had to hook up an 88 just to record this
Nice backing, but I'm just a bit worried about such a strong, foreground role for the arranger piano part. Sorry, but it all gets a bit too much karaoke for me. First thing I do to ANY style is turn off the piano parts. I'd rather not have them than have them, and it not be ME playing them!
Drums weren't too shabby, either. Is that one of the new kits? Hair too much reverb, but other than that, I don't see the problem.
