Found this on the net , thought quite a few of you might be interested. Not yet available but the streetprice here in Europe for the 7000 (61 keys) will be in between 500 and 550 euros. They are supposed to hit the stores any moment now....................

Thanks for the link John. Looks promising these casio's but most important is the sound. I haven't hear no real demo's yet. But for this price I don't think they sound much better as the WK 500.

Interesting,
If it sounds better than a good soundfont or a good general VSTi like a Steinberg Hypersonic, this Casio could be a good basic keyboard, at least to edit midi files or as a backup keyboard.
Now we need to hear something from it.

the "demos" that were posted for the WK 7500/CTK 7000 use the WK 500 engine, because the composer did not have a ready prototype in time.

At least that's what they claim here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq9i-l6JsGw&feature=related

be sure to watch the videos in 720p to get the best audio video quality.

In the comments there is also a Russian who supposedly saw the keyboards in Moscow, didn't like the "new" sound source and is bitching about it.

Better than hypersonic? I wouldn't bet on that, though it would be cool if I was proven wrong.

The Russian guy (I’m Russian too) wrote on YouTube practically the same that I was going to write here, although I never played these new keyboards. The WK-3800 and CTK-900 were in some way unique and pretty good for their prices, so people expected the next generation of keyboards to be even better.

But all new CASIO keyboards are equipped with AHL sound engine that (some) people consider as much less impressing than ZPI one.

So this man who played these new keyboards at exhibition in Moscow concluded that among present CASIO keyboards only CDP-100 and CDP-200 are competitive due to their low price.

Acronyms like ZPI or AHL are good, but in the end they mean nothing, unless we know the exact specs. When we hear the thing we will know.
