PS: The songs were recorded direct on the PA2x MP3 facility, inmported into Audacity (A really good FREE program ) and tidied up, fade in and out etc, then re-exported as MP3 files at 256kbs.

In Audacity you can apply a mutitude of effects if required additional tracks and much more, It really is a good package and easy to use.

probably the link leads to the sign in page, and both your computers' browsers are set to "remember page password"

No problem in itself but that means whoever else is using your computer has automatic access to web pages you use that need passwords.

never used that page before but usually such pages display a box with ready made html code that you copy and paste in BBS like synthzone, that automatically forwards users to the song. Check around for something like "embed" code or such things.
