Yeah I would buy a G70 in a heartbeat if I could find one...

I've only found one G70 for sale, and the seller wanted $3k for it... and didn't want to budge.

My friend Bill was helping me load equipment after the Shreveport Jam last year when he stumbled and fell off the stairs while carrying my Roland E80. He was cut and bruised from one end to the other and the E80 fell full force onto the concrete.
It took Bill a while to recover but the E80 survived without so much as a hiccup or scratch.
In fact I think it put a dent in the concrete.
My late friend HankB had a PSR2000 that I personally saw "drink" two vodka-sevens. It also had a couple of burns. It still works like new and we never even opened it to check it out. That was several years ago.
My experience is that most of these arrangers are pretty rugged.
Once again, I have had no problems at all with the Audya, nor have the vast majority of owners. You only hear about the relatively few that have experienced problems.

Ten years roadwork with a Korg i30 and nary a glitch. Tough as nails.

I've been using the PSR-3000 every day since they first became available--not a scratch. Sounds as if DocZ was dragging his behind the car on a length of chain between jobs. Just kidding Doc.

I no longer have to put up with drunks, cigarette smoke, and all the other problems Doc described. The smartest move I ever made in music was to get out of the bars and animal club lounges.

Doc, if you are going to remain in that kind of environment, buy the cheapest keyboard you can find--something with no frills, such as the DGX series. In your situation, the keyboard should be considered disposable.

I saw an i30 for sale here, but he wanted $2.5k for it... yikes!

Yeah that DGX was a good board. But I can't seem to find them anymore. They only have those with huge weighted keys now. They weigh a ton and are pretty expensive. I mean I gave just $400 for my DGX-305.

In my enviroment keyboards are considered tools, that will after a while get broken. Most of the pianobars I play usually have four pianos that alternate between repair and performance throughout a week. It's a tough job, but someones gotta do it. Who else would support womens breats?
