Hi

Maggie R "Everytime We Touch" played with a internal style. Comments are always welcome.

hi Niels, wow, that's one terrific rendition of Maggie Reilly's 90's hit. I compared yours to Reilly's CD cut & yours has got a lot more live presence and body. Which internal audya style did you use on this as I assume you recorded this live in auto accompaniment mode. Impressive work. - Scott

Wow, that is awesome! Amazing machine, for sure. Honestly, I have yet to hear any arranger touch the Audya for great sound. We always yak about the drums and bass being so good by the guitars are fabulous! Only problem... your song is too short!

No SemiLive the only problem is, how do we know it's an Audya that's being played , it could be a T4 are all your ears so discerning you can tell, let’s have the video not just the sounds, I know what it's not, that’s a Bontempi or a G70! Doh

Haha, well, you got a point, it could be a tyros for all I know and if it is, it sounds really good! But it sure sounds like an Audya to me! Nah, that's an Audya.

Thanks Semi if you think so then your ears are much younger than mine and mine have been used more than yours.

Sounds like the Audya to me. I think the lead guitar is the Carlos Deluxe.

Hard to believe that music is coming from a Keyboard. Technology is awesome these days!

Your da man, if you says it Audya its Audya, mines on it's end at the moment I think I will put it back on the stand tonight, forgot it sounded so good.

Hope you are keeping well Don.

Hi

Thanks for the comments. The style is the Folk Melody. The lead guitar is the Duo Europa from the Program.

One thing I've found is that you must search EVERY category for styles. They show up in unusual places and under unusual names!

Neils,
Very nice work...sounded good for sure...Only thing:
For me anyways:

1) Drums too loud
2) I would rather have heard a nice acoustic guitar instead of the rock distortion guitar for this song.

Marvellous!
I liked it very much, and it is hard to believe it was a keyboard.

WOW ... that sounds like the 'Demos' that are programmed into the kbs and are so difficult if not impossible to replicate ...

For the style in which the song is played, I felt the drums and guitar fit very nicely ... using 'softer' drums and acoustic guitar would have made it a different 'style' of tune, which probably would have worked also ...
I listened to it through a set of iHOME headphones ... http://www.ihomeaudio.com/iHMP5U/

BTW ... I just got these for $15 through one of those "TODAY Show" special deals ... they also serve as a speaker system and I don't think they can be beat for the price ...

t.
PS ... I thought the song could have been longer also ...

Yes,

I think a little longer the song, and if you move the left recording mic about 2" away from centre and the right one 4" into the centre the balance might be a little better, and the bread and butter, a little jam on it for me neilshs, and while your at it a nice cup of tea.

Neilshs,

Keep up the good work and take not a bit of notice of people who won't post their epics that they are still making royalties out of.

BTW have you had any problems with your Audya, I would love it if you came back in about 2 weeks and said it was a T4 and not an Audya.

Blow them away Neil!!!

Hi

Again, thank for the nice comments.

Tony,
I don't have any problems with my Audya.

You can't make the T4 sound as good as the Aydya. I have played Tyros for 3 years, and would never go back to the cheesy Yamaha sound again. The Audya blows it away.

Regards
Niels

Nice Job! Thanks for posting.

Tony:

I Agree with Niels!

There is no question, the Audya blows the Tyros away for sound quality.

I find myself playing the Audya about 80% of the time at my gigs. I've been doing some style editing to fit my needs and I'm very pleased with the results.

I'm also thrilled to report, my Audya is operating absolutely PERFECT!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

That sounded pretty good

If you were trying for a hard rock sound the balance was about right. If not, the drums were a tad bit heavy. IMHO

To me a tad bit heavy either way really. But quite impressive. I'd like to hear more, especially big band with horn solos and horn sections.

Just listened to the original on YouTube. The drums are much more subduded and easier to listen to on the original.

But, still an impressive recording of the Audya realizing that it would be easy enough to back the drums off if desired AND also realizing that quite often what it sounds like live through speakers and the way it sounds played back via recording that it can sound different than intended/expected.
