Got it today, ex demo unit, no box (or rather a Fantom G7 box with an additional 0 scribbled with a marker), 3 year warranty, almost $1600.

The only "problems" that I see are:
The screen is a little fuzzy, as if there is some kind of interference or some thing is "boiling" under the surface,
the white lettering above the various sockets in the back is almost non existent (they probably used white spirit or a very abrasive sponge to clean it).
Ahh and it produces a lot of interference, you can't talk on the phone if you are closer than 6 feet to it.

All those aside, I am very happy. The features are overwhelming, and my mentality is still 61 key!. Lots of space to expand though, and the keyboard is SUPERB. I have to build up a little muscle on the fingers though, I am used in a very light keyboard.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU GUYS LUG IT AROUND? I had to take it up 3 flights of stairs to get to my house and my back still hurts!.

Thanks to all of you that helped in my previous thread where I was seeking advice. In my next thread I will beg for styles, tips, etc.

Old in the back, new in the front:

Trident, congratulations on your new G70 setup. It looks like a solid well built keyboard and a great studio piece. Enjoy.

Too early to tell, and i haven't opened the manual yet , but i am happy as a pig in .....you know what.

I have to learn new things...what is an UPG and what do I do with it? LOL

most of what I do is trial and error but there is lots of fun in that.LOL

I tried to use the Cover tools and they were intuitive and easy to understand even without the manual and did I tell you that I absolutely LOVE the keybed?

Also with all those green and red lights flashing constantly I might as well put it in the corner instead of a christmas tree.

Thanks for all your wishes and thanks to Donny and Taike who sent me styles and stuff

Congrats, Trident. Hey! you with da big boys now, so no 'wussing out' and complaining about a bad back. Twenty sit-ups every morning . Seriously, you're gonna have a lot of enjoyment out of that G70, definitely a step up or three from your old board, there.
