That's a fine tune I've always enjoyed, had forgotten what a great piece of music it is. Not sure why but when I listen to it I'm taken to another place and time. Reminds me of a piece that would be played for a "N'Awlins" musician's funeral procession.

I've tried to do it before but none of the choir voices I had available to me sounded right. I tried it once with my church choir but Unitarian choirs are notoriously bad and it sounded like puppy poo. Maybe I can borrow a T4 .

I liked the Donald Byrd one very much...didn't care for the Al Hirt one, sounded like a couple guys practicing(Like a lot of Jazz does).

AND, I think he T4 could come pretty close to the Donald Byrd one...with the right person playing.
Comeon..some one give it a try...that's the kind of thing that would be great on here.

By the way I just read that Cristo Rendentor was played at the funeral of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

It's also played in the movie "Bronx Tale."
