Bill,

Are you part of Wersi, your not Klaus's boy are you. What the hell is so good about something you can't see ,touch and feel and arranger is right when the site works proper and not full of crap I will look at it again, so if you post it here again make sure it works first. Wersi name company or otherwise is begining to sound like a bad dream! Wersi is like painting the Forth Bridge it never bloody ends, I hope this is the last time we see them.

the way I understand it is that Bill is just a good guy and an enthusiast. But I agree about what you said about Wersi. What's their point? We are interested in the Wing at 2600 euros as I am sure many others are, but let's not play games...if they say 'november' and then 'MAYBE it's going to be 'february' then why not just announcing it in JANUARY.
Once only.
No one likes games. Or at least announce on the website that there will be delays, this and that, etc...

Hey, looks like they do it the "Ketron way" as we know it from when Audya was on the way.

The pricelevel is more in the T4 and other brands level, and sure much much below Audya.
Maybe Pegasus Wing will be a better choice than we think?

Cheers

As far as I can tell, Tyros 4 and Audya are about the same price.
We gripe when companies won't give any information about new releases, then gripe when they estimate releases and don't come through.
The Wing would have to sound WAY better than any Wersi demos I've heard in the past to be a serious option.
I hope it happens though. Competition is really needed in the arranger market.

can't say for sure, but as good as the Tyros is, the Pegasus Wing's features put it in another league....

it's all speculation, though. At least the Tyros can be found for sale

The Audya is an overpriced keyboard.
4200 sterling pound? Crazy....
for that money, I would expect an instrument that's nothing less than perfect in every area.

Sadly, that's not the fact in the country where I live, whatever reason.
Audya US$7830 (at the moment at "offer" price)
Tyros4 US$5166 (and that's even lower than T3!!)

Pegasus Wing announced to US$4998 (when it shows up)

don't know elsewhere, but in the UK the Tyros 4 is a bit cheaper than the audya (about 20 per cent).

As far as I can tell, they are both overpriced.

I don't understand why, when Korg makes a workstation like Triton, M3, etc, it's always priced at £ 1699, about half as much as Tyros 4.

Yet I would say that an M3 is an even more complex instrument...it can read sample libraries ,etc etc

I like arrangers more as I don't like thinkering and prefer to focus on music, but still, why the hell the Tyros and Audya are priced at over twice as much, is beyond me.

you need to compare like for like. The Tyros 4 is 61 notes, and should be compared to the Audya 5 for price.

Tyros 3 was more money than the Audya 76 note at the time the Audya was released.

In January all the UK prices will be going up again due to the VAT rise!
