Thanks Donny. The style file I used was one that I retuned a couple years ago, changed the OTS settings, and made a few volume changes. I'll send you the file. Thanks Steve. I've always liked this song, but never got around to playing and singing it until now. I was always worried that my senior audiences would not like it. I was wrong--they love it. I'll fire the style file off to you as well, and anyone else that wants it. Thanks guys, Gary

Scott, I can't hear it, but this likely because most of my high frequency hearing is shot to hell--literally. Too many booming cannons when I was a youngster in the U.S. Navy and no hearing protection other than cotton balls stuffed in your ears. I posted a link so you and anyone else can download the style file. If you can find time to fix the problem, please do so using your keyboard's Style Creator program. Then, email it to me and I'll redo the song and post the fixed style. Cheers, Gary

I just tried recording a couple half-steps higher using the same technique and the Zoom H2, it was a bit distorted and I'll have to work on it again when I get some free time--maybe tomorrow. Also, I listened to the style file's high hats, ran the style through the keyboard's Style Creator program, quantized the drum kit, but nothing changed. I'm not hearing something that's out of timing--just a different high-hat than traditional. Maybe it's a bit more bluesy sounding--I just don't know because I can barely hear it--even with headphones. Gary [This message has been edited by travlin'easy (edited 01-01-2011).]

Trident, The problem was created by a program that I used to lower the volumes within the styles. For some strange reason it did something to the high-hat timing in relation to the drum--something I never encountered in the past. Scott called last night an said he would rather have the high-hat removed altogether, but I kinda' like the high-hat in the drum mix. Thanks for listening, Gary
