These are going to sell like hotcakes!
I just read the complete specification...looks to be very high end. The VH even has pitch correction (Voice-Live derived) AND some feature that actually dynamically tracks you voice and adjusts as it goes??
Each Var has a fill & break. AUTO fill is a new feature (for Korg) NOW...how do he sounds stack up??? It will be a while before we know that.

I wonder if it displays text files (not midi-embedded lyrics)?

Don the Korgs have always been able to display text lyrics! As well as embedded MIDI lyrics.

Thanks, I didn't remember that, but I'm glad. This thing is getting interesting. Can't wait to see a list of styles, and weights.

Plus (and Im not sure if the others do this too) you can scroll your text lyrics using either a foot pedal, the EC5 pedal or one of the assignable buttons. WHihc on the PA3 there are now 3 of!!!

I wonder if they have added a third pedal jack?? ON the PA2 it only had the sustain (dedicated) and one other assignable footpedal jack

Still only two jacks. Weights are acceptable to me.
EC 5 probably would be necessary.

Damn...

I suppose if they put on a second assignable they would not sell as many EC5's....I find in my use, that I only really use the EC5 to turn harmony on and off. I use the assignable jack for an expression pedal, so I am forced to use the EC5. The assignable switches are too far away on the far left to be of any real use whilst actually playing, in my experience.

One work around to give you an additional foot-pedal controller jack would be to purchase a midi foot controller unit like the following. I use this to increase my Tyros 4's footswitch input from 3 to 4, programming the midi controller to trigger harmony on/off. cool

The more footswitches, the better, for me! Anything that lets me play without taking my hands away from playing is good in my book!

Wouldn't work Scott I don't think, thanks anyway...We have no access to the Sysex data from Korg. And reading from teh link you sent this box need sysex to set it up. And even then I think the Korh system will only "SEE" one pedal regardless...

@ Diki, yeah m8, I used to be the same, always used the EC5, (Or FC7 when I had the Rolands)...

But with time and practice, and the way my live playing is evolving, I find I am using it less and less (apart from sustain of course).

Although.....there are some songs that I am happy I DO have the EC5 pedal hooked up smile
