It should be a menu option? Since the pads are really seperate from the styles...I wander if in rare cases you might NOT want the pad to stop with the style??

Maybe in orchestral pieces??

I've never found it this has been going on since the PA800 series was released....I have complained so many times on deaf ears.....not a problem any more for me as I have since moved on and sold that unit a while ago. But my question is, does it Still exist ion the new PA3x?

zuki it is a BIG problem on the PA units no matter how you want to look at it, ...
it is a BUG that needs to be corrected plain and simple, +1 for Yamaha on this feature....,in command?

Nah, nod goes to Korg, even with that small annoyance (to some), as the pads are USEFUL.

Hi Lee,
I don't use the pads much on my korg, hence I didn't pick up on the fact that the drum pads don't stop when the ending starts to play, wheras the intrument pads , like guitar, piano etc do.

Strangely enough, the way the korg pads function, was one of the reasons I bought the korg in the first place.

The way I used to use my User pads on my Technics, was to use the pad ie a guitar rythm pad or a piano pad instead of the piano or guitar track in the style itself. Used to mute the style part & play the pad instead. This made the same style sound slightly different, depending on which pad I used. In my case , the pad wasn't an additional track to the style, but used instead of. Certainly one case of where I wouldn't want the pad to stop when I pressed the ending.
