Every Day moves a little faster, something something like a roller coaster, will a love like yours ever come my way.....etc....

An email friend mentioned this song. Made my head spin with the melody and only these few words... Maybe someone here will have a copy of melody line with chord symbols.....and the words?

Elizabeth, I found those lyrics in a song by Norman Petty & Charles Hardin with the name "Every Day". But I only found lyrics and chord symbols. There is no melody line. Still looking. Let me know if Chords and Lyrics will help.

Hi BOB.....That is definitely the right song! The Buddy Holly version is the one I remember.... I think James Taylor is/was a CW singer...maybe a composer too...

As I am not an hear player, it would be good to have the melody line along with lyrics and chords although having that much would be helpful.

While it would be fun to play & sing it is certainly not imperitive....

Thanks for your always good help! Elizabeth

Thanks to all of you for the information! James Taylor was/is an unknown to me.... I am not a big CW fan....except for Willie and John Denver (who I know is gone).....

My email lady friend likes the James Taylor version and seemed to want to argue about which is "right" and which is "wrong"..

Oh well, she is a young lady... A "Newbie" in the RV world.
Happy playing!

Thanks GJ.... I can get the music pretty well from the sheets that are shown on those two sites...

Elizabeth, how many "young lady" RV'ers do you have there? Maybe I should give a second thought to RV'ing again . . . wink

Elizabeth ... James Taylor
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Taylor
started out more as a 'folk' singer (in my opinion) but has since 'crossed over' into various genres ... he lived a very troubled younger life - a good deal of it self inflicted-, and is probably lucky to be alive ...
Buddy Holly wrote "Everyday" and recorded it in 1957, so if there is a right version, I guess it would be his ... wink ...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everyday_%28Buddy_Holly_song%29

BOB..... Here at The Ranch in S.E. NM there is more than one handful of unattached/single "Young Ladies".... I am the only one who plays Technics KB....Can't think of any of them who play any kind of KB....
Out in the world of Single RV'rs there are far more women than men.... Only a very few play Technics...some others play other KB's and other things....
Come on out and check us out...We have no snow this winter..yet.
Don't let my picture scare you off!

Well . . . I cheated and used a photo that is about 15 years old that I got from Gunnar's site. Was just foolin' . . . At this age, I wouldn't know what to do with one of those ladies if I saw one . . .

I was about to pull down my site, but just changed PC and have not reinstalled the software to edit yet. When I do, I will not remove your part as it is still very useful.

Cheers
