Steady on now Scottyee that was not meant to be taken seriously, it simple means Martin needs to try much harder I think Robert could demo for Yamaha just as good as Martin. Don't you? Robert is an exceptionally good player...Martin is also a good player...I think it would depend on the type of presentation. Martin appears to be very comfortable interacting with the public, and showcasing the Tyros4's features, as well as demonstrating the sounds and styles in an incredibly facile manner...and, well he should, Tony, as the Tyros has been his "baby" all along, and he was heavily involved in it's development. I haven't seen Robert interact within a "live" demo or clinic situation, which is quite a bit different that uploading tunes via YouTube...that's not to take away from Robert's skill as a player...he is an excellent musician (I am a fan), and really gives the Tyros4 a thorough workout. Having had quite a few years experience as a clinician/demonstrator myself, it is not a job for everyone...being a good player is only part of it. That said ( ) it would be very interesting to see Robert work in a clinician/demonstrator role...he may be a natural...he certainly has the musical talent. And, having said "that said"( ) Martin is pretty awesome...Korg (and others) would do well to have someone of his talent and personalty. Ian PS...I really enjoy your dry humor and wit, Tony...we Canadians use it a lot ourselves.
