Hi Telmo, I really enjoyed cool your beautifully orchestrated Vangelis song so expressively played live by you.
My vote is to continue to play with shoes off and socks on. I prefer your 'socked touch' wink on the pedals
To do differently wouldn't be true to who you are. JMO. smile

note: I detect audio distortion (bass drum induced?) at around 2:56, 4:15 and 4:24, 4:35, and 4:38.

Nothing wrong having your shoes off, Telmo. Even the great Rhoda Scott plays the pedals shoeless.

I like it when someone places their own personal stamp on a traditional piece, whether it is spiritual or something that stirs the national pride of the people. As long as you are respectful to the heart of the music like this. smile

Hi, I just wish to Thank for those kind comments:
SCOTT, thanks for the kind words. Now, you are right about the distortion. These are pre-recorded Multipads, which I should've lowered their volumes. I didn't think, they would cause some distortion. I have to be more careful the next time.
TAIKE, Thank you for the kind words, and for having enjoyed it.
LEE, Thanks for the compliments. Now, regarding the voices, they are mostly comercially Samples which I have bought from Pemo, WorldofKeys, Solitaire, Regitech, TTTWersi, IrishAct,... I have a huge Sample collection, which I use from time to time when I can't find a suitable Voice on Tyros4 factory bank. Of course, I edit, tweak, change a little bit these samples according to my personal taste.
I also want to thank SOKRATIS AND TASSIESPIRIT for the kind compliments.

Telmo,

That was brillant, I am surprised more people didn't say so, there are very few bits put together like that and the T4 sounds really nice. This is what sells the T4 people like you doing this, it's a finished product and no one can say it's not. Yamaha know what people want and your snippet proves that.

Perhaps peoples silence speaks volumes

Regards

Thelmo, again you play very well, with excellent choices in voices, and, a really cool arrangement of an already beautiful piece of music.

Are you a Vangelis fan?

Have you done your interpretation of his famous tune, "Chariots of Fire"?

Pulstar is another favorite.

You have much feeling in your playing.

Ian

Thelmo...

Another Inspiring, heartfelt performance. The art work really added a special touch to the song while listening. I've just started working with video editing myself, lots of fun. As Scott mentioned above I did hear a couple of slight overloads also toward the end build ups no biggie.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi TONY HUGHES, Thank you so much for the kind words and comments. I appreciate your praise. All the best.
STEPHEN, Thanks for the kind compliments and words.
LEE, regarding your question, yes, last year, while I had Tyros3 I purchased Solitaire complete collection. I liked and use some of his Samples. You can write to him, his real name is Steve, is a nice guy, and understands a little English. Get on his site and send him a message. Regards, Telmo.
YAN, Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I like Vangelis tunes. Thanks.
Dnj, Thank you for the compliments. Yes, I overpower the Multipads volume.
PS. Dnj, this week I'll be working on your favorite tune, The Godfather, I haven't forgatten. I have missed your picture.
