Re: Poll #2 - Perfect (absolute) Pitch Question

To clarify the definition of Perfect Pitch (aka: absolute pitch). This means being able to identify any single pitch heard without having heard any other prior pitch as a reference point. This relatively rare ability is inborn and very different than "relatve pitch", which is the ability to recognize a pitch based on the interval relationship between a known note heard previously.
