Ok folks, looks like the Pa3X may now be 'ready to roll' afterall, as a Korg VIP Musician Party was just held at a Mountain Resort in Saalfelden, Austria.
You can first catch a short glimpse of the Pa3X from 3:15 - 3:25, with a OMB musician singing and playing "Stand By Me".
Two PaX's are later called upon for the band numbers, starting at: 5:18.
With the music and beer flowing, fun was had by all.
Any speculation that the Pa3X isn't finished yet appears to have been crushed by the release of this Korg Pa3X party video.

i dont disbelieve its the PA3X but how exactly can you tell ? I was not able to make out what one of the keyboards were at all and the other one was a Korg but i could not make out the model ?

Spalding, if you watch in 720p, and in full screen mode, and then pause the video at around 3:15, you can spot the exclusive Pa3X add on speaker unit mounted to the Pa3x, of which has the KORG name appearing on it.
I'm not certain whether the PaX's appearing later in the video are Pa3X's or not though, because their cases' don't appear to be completely black.

Other than the color, what other, if any difference, is there between the Pa3x: silver cased 'musikant' version and black cased version?

That's Jürgen Sartorius from Korg Germany behind the keys starting at 7:08 He and some others are tweaking the sounds and styles for the PA3x. The PA3x is for about 90% ready.

Frans, thanks for the heads up about that being Jürgen behind the keys (left side of screen). I assume when you say tweaking, no actual 'new' sounds or styles are being added, but existing ones merely tweaked. I'm impressed with the Pa3X's apparent sturdy build, especially at the end, when Jürgen stands on the bench to play it from above.

I still would like to know the difference (other than the case color) between the Black cased Pa3X and the silver & white Musikant version. Anybody know?

No all the sounds are already in the PA3X but need some tweaking for the German market. They will add extra styles. PA3X Musikant will have more then 500 styles.

The difference between the silver and the black is that the silver PA3X is for the German market and contain more samples and styles just as with the Korg PA500 and the Korg PA500 Musikant the one I have. The Musikant also has more styles then the international version and is totally compatible with the international version. So you can say that the PA3X Musikant is a better buy. Well for me

So, can we take it that "for the German market" means more styles covering Laendlers, Valzes, Polkas, etc.? It's a shame that Korg doesn't balance that with a 'Western market' oriented model containing extra jazz, rock, pop, country, ballad, big band, styles, etc. I sure wish they'd do something like that. It must all be down to sales numbers.

Yes 124 they take out styles they don't use in Germany for example hindipop and replace them with the ones you named.
