Only because I realize how much a fan of "Tower Of Power" you are:
It was definitely
Rick Stevens (not Lenny Williams) who sang lead vocals on the band's 1972 classic 2nd album "
Bump City",
of which featured the hits: "You're Still A Young Man" as well as "Down To The NightClub".
Lenny Williams joined the band a little later, and was lead singer on the albums: "Tower of Power","Back To Oakland", and "Urban Renewal".
Lenny currently lives in my neighboring city of San Leandro, Ca and does annual holiday concerts with the 'student band' at San Leandro High School.
