Hi together,
today I received a newsletter from Ketron Germany. It tells, that there will be presented a Style & Sound upgrade at the upcomming fair in Frankfurt and that this SUPER PACKAGE will be available soon on Memory Stick.
I guess the same procedure as last year, hoping it will only be the cost for the stick.
I will not be too pesimistic, but last year it was the same - presented at the fair with "comming soon" - and finally the upgrade was available in August. So we have probably to wait until summer.
As it is only 1 hour for me driving to Frankfurt, I probably will visit the fair. I will give a feedback on the upgrade..
I have friend that tell about the software will release on francoforte.but not talking about sounds and styles news from ketron italy. maybe is this from AJ ? as I know not news sounds and styles ,only little software that correct many bugs.then I suppose not news function. he don't tell about styles and sound upgrade. if you remember and see the old video demo 2010 from Robert Messier there are some styles he played thet not be inserted in upgrade. he told me (last year) there will be maybe release individually. but now 1 year is go. I don't like the silent of ketron italy on web (I'm italian) from august. at minimun 1 message to inform about that they are working and don't kill audya project. I really hope your information is true and will see not only software bugs correct, but styles and sounds too......of course If the sounds is only new program using internal sounds... I don't need I can make it alone. really hope good news

I visited the Musikmesse on Saturday and looked/listened to the new update - to be honest, except the new styles (some of them are very good) I did not found out too much other news - so I guess the improvements are more in the detail. Regarding sound improvements it was not possible for me to get an impression, it was very loud at that time on the booth. Certainly I asked when it will be available. They told me in approx. 4 weeks (I personally have doubts on this, last year they told the same and it ended up 4 months later). On the price no information was given - we will see. I were a little disappointed as they opened the booth at least with an half an hour delay and the announced first presentation at 10am was also delayed for an hour. Maybe I'm a little too German here - but to be late is one of the things you can really rely on with Ketron.
I visited also Yamaha and Korg. Yamaha as every year: The Tyros is a keyboard that doesn't mean anything to me - maybe it will change one time (Tyros 12 or so). Korg: I was very impressed from the new PA3X, much more powerful sound also on the style parts than the PA2X. I guess I will try one for some days when the device will be available.
where's my 4.2 Pen Upgrade? i want to place my order today
Steady on Leezone the COUNTDOWN has not started yet, we need the nod from AJ to start!

Hi Alliehoe,
it seems that you do not have too much experience with Ketron. My experience is that it is never that what they are promissing on traid shows or telephone. It is at least 1 to 2 months later. But if the quality then is ok, it is fine. The only problem I have is why they are every time so optimistic on their open issues.
