I have the 2300 and what I did is replace the two satellite speakers with larger more dynamic range speakers. The system is powerful enough to handle the larger speakers and make a world of difference.
I'd like to know what speaker you used as well.
I am using the Z2300 to amplify my computer and my PX-330 digital piano. The midrange on the piano sounds horrible, and I know it's the speakers because the PX-330 sounds fantastic through headphones.
What about a graphic eq? You can get used ones really cheap?
